French Doors

French doors are an elegant asset to any home. Here at GrayHawk, our French doors boast a superior multi-point lock system, which increases security and performance by providing smooth operation. Our standard door options come with 5/8” insulated Cardinal Low E2 272 glass; while impact rated doors come with 1” impact glass (Laminated). Our doors also come with a co-extruded glass stopper for easy glass replacement, and a weep-hole cover, which allows water to drain out, while preventing dust and dirt from getting in.

Our door frames are made of composite material with a smooth exterior finish (wood grain finish is available upon special request). We also offer a wide variety of colors and hardware options to give your door a personal touch.

Impact Doors

With all the benefits of insulated impact glass windows, Grayhawk Impact Resistant Doors offer protection from storms and intruders, along with sound and solar control. The strength of our impact glass, with its laminate interlayer, reduces exterior noise and ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun, which can penetrate standard glass. When struck by a blunt object such as debris or a crowbar, the glass will adhere to the plastic interlayer to provide your home optimum security.

With stainless steel balances on the window hardware, to protect the unit from corrosion caused by sea air and salt spray, the durability of our impact door is unmatched. Our doors can also withstand winds up to 180 mph. During these conditions, a unique snubber (located on the hinge side of our casement doors) holds the sash to the frame in place, and after the storm, the snubber interlocks into the window again to make the unit functional.

We have ensured the quality of our products through product testing using powerful air cannons. After launching a two-by-four piece of lumber (length-9ft. weight-9lbs.), at a rate of 50-feet per second, followed by 9,000 cycles of combined positive and negative pressures, our units were still intact and functional!
